The history of The Kings Church is one full of faith and an ongoing story of God's goodness!!

The origins of the church date back to the 1980s, where a small independent congregation grew to become 2 congregations, one meeting in Coatbridge and the other in Motherwell, under the overall leadership of Hugh Clark.

Having used many different buildings to get to that point, the congregations were in faith for a "Central Building" which would then become their permanent home.  After considering various locations in the area, God opened up the way for the purchase of our current location in Airbles Road, where "The Kings Centre" was built, opening officially in April 1985.  This was a time of miraculous faith and provision, which saw the costs of purchasing the land and constructing the Centre paid off by the congregation within 3 years.

Since that time we have grown into a multi-cultural, multi-generational church that we trust is a reflection of the community in which we are based, and offer plenty of opportunities for kids and adults from all backgrounds to come together to relate to God and to each other.
